Relaxing.

I've let the girls use my old camera.

Jubi likes using it.

She doesn't take photos, she just looks at the screen. LOL!

The screen was my favorite part of that camera. I loved how I could pull it out, and see it from the front. The only thing I miss.

I just love Jubi's and Lib's faces here (we were watching a movie).

Bath Time for Jubi

It appears that Jubi doesn't quite understand what soap is for.

She seems to think it's related to lip balm.

At the Laundromat

Took the little ones with us to the laundromat today. Went pretty good.

They all helped unload dryers, and fold laundry, a little. :)

I forgot the power cord for my computer, so instead entertained myself by taking photos with my new little camera.
This is only the third camera I've ever had. The first I got when I was only 7 or so years old, broke the battery door, and it never worked again. Was pretty traumatic for me, I remember crying about it even years later (around 10 yrs. old). My second I bought over 5 years ago and it went bad this last summer. So! Time for a new one.

Lib doesn't give me nice, sweet smiles.

I think those are supposed to be eyebrows. ??? Can't be certain.

Jubi likes my new camera, and it's little pouch.

House Update!

We don't often go out and buy furniture. Usually we're just to busy trying to get rid of stuff, to be thinking about getting anything new. Not to mention, we have the hardest time agreeing on something. And, upholstered anything, just doesn't last around here.
Anyways, for some reason over the last couple years we've collected several rocking chairs. One has been around since before I can remember, + 3 more that were picked up in the last few years. Weird. Not sure what that all means. :P

We've all gotten pretty proficient at climbing ladders. Even Jubi (2) has gotten a good handle on it (with someone right behind her of course). I'm really glad we're redoing the stairs, I think our new plan will be much more efficient on space.

We really have too many jackets (or at least some members of the family do). We had this long set of pegs not being used, and coats lying all over the place. After I put it on the wall, Susi noticed there happened to be just enough for each to have there own peg. Lol!

Our sign, for when the batteries get drained too low.

Fort Scot: Candle Light Tour - 2010

As usual, during the main event I am running around like crazy, and don't have time to snap pictures. But I was able to get these on the second day, before the dance.

This is all Jubi did for the first couple hours. She ran up and down that room. Wore herself right out. By the time the dance had started, she just sat in my lap and watched. lol! It worked pretty good. :)

Ellie's and Maddi's job on the tour was to see if any of the child visitors were interested in decorating the tree.

The Hat Dance. Or at least that's what we call it.
All the ladies stand in one line, and the gentleman in another. After a lady sits in the middle and two gentleman sit on either side of her, they're each supposed to try and persuade her to dance with himself. Once the lady decided who she prefers, she hands the hat to the gentleman she decides not to dance with. Then after the couple sashay down the center and join their respective lines, two lady's sit on either side of the gentleman that was left behind. And he gets a turn to pick. So on and so forth.
I actually didn't dress out for the dance this year. After helping everyone get dressed and do hair, I was pooped! And happy to sit with little Jubi in my lap and watch.
